Al Pacino Reveals Frightening Details of Near-Death Experience at Home: ‘I Was Gone’
Living screen legend Al Pacino has revealed the stunning news COVID briefly killed him and he was miraculously revived!
“I was sitting there in my house, and I was gone,” says the 84-year-old Oscar winner. “I didn’t have a pulse.”
Luckily, a crew of first responders, apparently wearing protective outfits, arrived at his home.
“In a matter of minutes, they were there — the ambulance in front of my house,” he recalls. “I had about six paramedics in that living room, and there were two doctors, and they had these outfits on that looked like they were from outer space or something.”
Although the actor was in a near-death state where others say they catch a glimpse of a heavenly afterlife, he says, “I didn’t see the white light or anything. There’s nothing there.”
The frightening close call occurred in 2020, when Pacino contracted a serious COVID infection, suffering symptoms that included a fever. He told employees he was suddenly feeling “unusually not good” before his heart stopped.
Even without experiencing evidence of an afterlife, the Scarface star says he takes comfort in knowing when he does go to that big theater in the sky, he’ll leave behind four children as well as an eternal body of work.
“I’d never thought about it in my life,” he muses. “But you know actors, it sounds good to say I died once. It’s just the way it is.”
