It seems like just yesterday that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s eldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, was a little boy and now, according to a new report, the 17-year-old is already dating! “Maddox had a girlfriend there for a little while last year. It was like puppy love,” a source close to the famous family recently told Radar Online.

“Now he’s stepping up his game and likes to take girls to the movies or for drives through the Hollywood Hills. He drives them around himself in his pick-up truck that Angie bought him as soon as he was able to drive,” the source continued.

The insider added that proud mom Angelina, 43, is “so thrilled” that Maddox is ready to enter the dating world. “Angie was so thrilled when Maddox told her he was taking girls out. He’s her eldest and she was so excited to watch him become a man. She’s sat him down and made sure to explain how to treat women with respect,” the insider added.

In addition to Maddox, Angelina and Brad, 55, are also parents to kids Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 10. During a recent interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today, Angie opened up about being a mom to six children and revealed she doesn’t want her kids to be “perfectly behaved.”

“[My kids] all have a good rebellious streak that is wonderful and curious,” she said. “I don’t want them to be perfectly behaved little people that just say what’s absolutely appropriate because I say so … they have to find themselves.”

“Children can do two things,” Angelina added. “They can make you grow up, and you do, and they also add a sense of wild themselves.”
