Have you ever seen a more perfect family than Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner‘s? The former couple got together on Sunday, June 2, to take their kids — Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7 — to church in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles.

Since Ben, 46, and Jen, 47, are great at coparenting, they didn’t let their breakup in 2018 get the best of them. Instead of fighting over who gets to spend the most time with their kids, Ben and Jen have put their differences aside and are often spotted with them together.

After their church service, Jen was spotted carrying a delicious fruit tray outside while Ben held a giant stuffed animal that looked like a rabbit. Violet also helped her mom out by carrying a cute picnic basket in her arms and Seraphina was looking super adorable carrying Samuel on her back.

Even though Ben and Jen are no longer together, it’s clear they’ll never let anything stop them from putting their family first.

Since Jen has been such a great mom to Violet, Samuel and Seraphina, the Argo actor didn’t forget to include her in a sweet Instagram post he wrote to his mom, Christine Anne Bold, on Mother’s Day. He said, “Happy Mother’s Day to the two incredible mothers who have shown me the meaning of love. Today I am making donations to two organizations in their honor.” How cool is that?!

Plus, Ben doesn’t take anything that Jen does for granted. “I’m lucky [my kids have] got a great mom, and she helps out a great deal with making sure we coparent in as good a way as possible,” he previously gushed on the Today show. “She’s wonderful.”

Ben also admitted he has a lot of respect for Jen because of the role she plays in his life. “Somebody’s the mother of your kids, they’re going to be the most important, central part of your life, and that’s good,” he said.

The last thing Ben wants to do is be a father who doesn’t show up for his children. “Dads are so important to kids, and it’s our responsibility to be there for them, and to be present, to be mindful, to be attentive, to be part of their lives, to be as in it as moms,” the two-time Oscar winner noted. “That’s really the central preoccupation in my life.”

Being a father to three kids has brought Ben more joy than he could imagine. “It’s what makes me happy,” he gushed. “And the rest of the stuff kind of follows.”
