Aww! Ben Affleck seems to be spending a ton of time with his kids, as they were recently spotted out and about in Los Angeles. The Batman star looked happier than ever as he took his youngest children, Seraphina Affleck and Samuel Affleck, for a shopping trip around the Brentwood neighborhood on Sunday, September 8.

The 47-year-old has been on total daddy duty lately as he’s been enjoying a ton of quality time with Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7 — as well as his daughter Violet, 13. After recently celebrating one year of sobriety, a source close to the actor dished that “Ben is in a great place in his recovery and life,” Us Weekly reported. “He continues to want to be the best father and friend he can be.” Ben is one stand-up dad!

Ben, who shares his three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, dressed super casually for the family shopping trip. The Gone Girl actor donned a blue-striped flannel and khaki jeans. He also accessorized with his signature pair of sunglasses.

Ben’s kids looked super adorable as they trailed behind their famous dad. Samuel wore a blue T-shirt and brown shorts, while Seraphina sported a bright green top and gray athletic shorts.

Prior to their fun-filled weekend, Ben was spotted picking up Samuel and Seraphina from school on Wednesday, September 4. The Golden Globe Award-winner was photographed holding his little ones’ hands and walked them to his car after meeting them at the building’s entrance. So cute!

Ben’s shopping trip with his kiddos came hours after Violet, Seraphina and Samuel were spotted at church with their mom, Jennifer. The 47-year-old beauty enjoyed the Sunday morning outing before she dropped her three kids off with their dad.

Although they are no longer together, the Justice League actor and the Peppermint star — who tied the knot in 2005 but divorced in 2015 — are doing the best job at coparenting their kids. In fact, Ben has been known to gush about the “great mother” and “fabulous person” Jen is.

“They have shared a great summer with the kids, doing outings, travel, etc.,” the insider revealed. “They have a very trusting and special relationship.”

Ben and Jen are such amazing parents for their growing children!
