RIP‘Bewitched’ Star Bernard Fox Has Died at Age 89

Rest in peace, Bernard Fox.

The veteran actor — most known for starring on TV shows Bewitched and Hogan’s Heroes — died of heart failure on Wednesday, Dec. 14, his publicist confirmed to Entertainment Weekly. He was 89-years-old.

Bernard portrayed Dr. Bombay alongside stars Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick Sargent on Bewitched from 1966 until 1972 and Colonel Crittendon on Hogan’s Heroes from 1965 to 1970. He also portrayed Archibald Gracie IV in the 1997 film Titanic.

The star is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Jacqueline, daughter Amanda and two grandchildren, David-Mitchel and Samantha. Our thoughts are with Bernard’s family during this difficult time.
