Singer Bette Midler stole our hearts on Sunday, February 24, at the 2019 Oscars when she sang “The Place Where Lost Things Go” from Mary Poppins Returns. Bette, 73, first announced that she would be performing at the Academy Awards when she revealed the exciting news to Twitter on Saturday, February 16. Bette wrote, “So, (drum roll) Ladies and Gentlemen, I will be chanteusing (that’s singing) on the Oscars on Feb 24 … the nominated song from Mary Poppins … ‘The Place Where Lost Things Go’ … so excited!!” Watch the video above to see Bette’s amazing performance at the Oscars!
