Bindi Irwin’s Sweet Message for Her Boyfriend Chandler Powell Will Make You Believe in Love Again

Ah, young love! Bindi Irwin took to Instagram on Thursday, Sept. 21, to share a sweet snap of herself and boyfriend Chandler Powell, accompanied by a very touching message. The 19-year-old wildlife conservationist and daughter of the late Steve Irwin paid tribute to her beau with a poem from Mumbai-based writer Sanober Khan. Check it out in the video below!

This isn’t the first time Bindi has taken to social media to gush over professional wakeboarder Chandler, 20. Back in April, the Dancing With the Stars alum posted a picture of the pair sitting in directors’ chairs and staring into each other’s eyes. “Sometimes in life, you find that someone who is living Sunshine❤️” she captioned the photo.

And this past Valentine’s Day, Bindi expressed her love for Chandler in another moving Instagram post. “Valentine’s Day. A day to celebrate love and happiness. (And an excuse to give endless amounts of hugs!),” she wrote alongside an image of herself cuddling up to her man in front of a stunning mountain landscape in her home country of Australia. “This picture captures my forever Valentine @chandlerpowell, in gorgeous #Australia.”

Bindi, who began dating the Florida native in November 2013 after he visited her family’s zoo, revealed the moment she knew Chandler was The One in an October 2016 interview with Entertainment Tonight. According to the young animal enthusiast, it was when she first laid eyes on him in his khaki Australia Zoo uniform.

“It was kind of one of those moments that was a real defining moment for me, because you know, it’s only the people who are the closest to us that get their khakis,” she said at the time. “I love seeing [Chandler] in khaki now. It makes me so happy.”
