Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynahan is beautiful both inside and out! She kicked off her career as a model in her early days before transitioning into acting.

“I did a lot of commercials and really appreciated the concept of residuals,” she told Parade of her early career in February 2024. “I had done some acting in high school and going into film and television seemed like a natural progression. But it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, I’ll go act now.’”

“I worked during the day and studied at acting school at night before I felt like I was ready to go out there,” Bridget explained. “It was well thought-out. Then I was doing a small-budget film, and I got cast in Sex and the City and Coyote Ugly within the same week.

2002

One of Bridget’s earliest acting appearances came in the 2000 film Coyote Ugly. She also starred as Natasha in Sex and the City from 1999 to 2000.

2011

In 2010, she began starring alongside Tom Selleck in CBS’ Blue Bloods as Erin Reagan.

“We’ve been so blessed to be able to tell stories of the police, detectives and the law from the perspective of people who actually take on those selfless roles and tell it across that dinner table from a family that is so rooted in morals and values,” she said of the role.

2013

The New York native shares one son, John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan, with ex Tom Brady. Jack was born in 2007.

Bridget said that she was not putting pressure on her son to follow a certain career path.

“To be honest, whatever he chooses, I’ll be very happy. But he loves lacrosse … basketball’s probably his favorite sport, but he’s a very good student,” she said during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark.

Bridget opened up to People in April 2019 about her coparenting relationship with Tom.

“Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own,” she said. “I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love.”

It was revealed that Blue Bloods would be ending with a two-part season 14.

“Blue Bloods will forever be a beloved part of CBS’s legacy. It ruled Friday nights with unprecedented dominance since its premiere and established itself as a pillar of our winning lineup with an exceptionally devoted fan base,” Amy Reisenbach, President, CBS Entertainment and David Stapf, President, CBS Studios, said in a joint statement in November 2023.

Bridget spoke out after it was announced that Blue Bloods would be ending after season 14.

“I think we’re all a little disappointed,” she told People in September 2024. “We’ve had such a good time. We all want to be there. It’s a real loss.”
