2002

John and Bo’s romance first began when he was looking for a date to an Oscars afterparty in 2002. A Hollywood agent put him in contact with Bo.

“I said, ‘I’m not dating anyone,’ and he said, ‘I’ll get you a date, Corbett!’ And he set me up with Bo,” the Parenthood actor said during a 2015 Today appearance. “I was very intimidated!”

That same year, they also attended the VH1 Big in 2002 Awards in Los Angeles together, posing for photos on the red carpet while holding hands.

2012

After 10 years of dating, the lovebirds proved they were still going strong by attending the 84th Academy Awards together. How cute!

2015

Bo opened up about why she and John had not yet walked down the aisle after 13 years of dating.

“He’s funny. He makes me laugh all the time,” the Fashion House alum told Entertainment Tonight in July 2015. “We talk about [marriage] sometimes but we don’t have children and we’re not young, so there isn’t that pressure or need to get married.”

2016

John revealed what he believed to be the secret to his lasting relationship with Bo.

“Don’t get married,” he said in an interview with The Huffington Post in August 2016. “I have a lot of friends that get divorces. It becomes this whole thing.”

2018

John and Bo decided to expand their family, announcing that they adopted a dog together.

“His name is Luka! Thank you for all your name suggestions…this one stuck,” she shared on Instagram. “Special thanks to Denise. Luka is settling in like a Champ. Smokey and Chico accepted him to the pack from the first moment. And we are now a happy family of eight.”

2020

The couple officially tied the knot in a private ceremony; however, they did not announce the news until the following year.

2021

The XO, Kitty actor announced his marriage to Bo while appearing on The Talk in August 2021.

“Jerry, I can’t believe I forgot to tell you. Around Christmas time we got married. Bo and I got married,” he told host Jerry O’Connell. “We got married. And this is probably the first time – we’re pretty private people. We didn’t make an announcement. All our friends and family knew.”

“But this is the first time either one of us has said anything publicly about it because really, we haven’t had an opportunity,” John added. “So, you’re my buddy, and now I guess I’m telling all of America or the world. And yeah, after 20 years we decided to get married.”

2024

They kicked off the year by attending the premiere of Masters of the Air together, making everyone swoon with their sweet relationship on the red carpet.

2025

John and Bo’s love carried into 2025! The pair attended the 6th Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party at the Hollywood Palladium. Her gorgeous blue blouse really complemented her striking eyes, and John looked equally as smashing in a black shirt while posing with his beloved at the February 2025 event.
