Bo beat out a number of Hollywood starlets to score the role of Jenny Hanley in 10, alongside Dudley Moore and Julie Andrews.

“It was life changing for me,” she told Entertainment Tonight in September 2020 of the role. “I wasn’t an aspiring actress, so I was so unprepared for becoming famous overnight and being followed by paparazzi every place I went and having things written about you that just aren’t true. They got very personal and pretty nasty.”

1981

It was a big year for the California native, as she starred in both Fantasies and Tarzan, the Ape Man, the latter in which she appeared in a nude scene.

1987

Bo was married to her late first husband, John Derek, from 1976 up until his death in 1998 at age 71 from cardiovascular disease. Here they are pictured at a social outing together. They were frequent collaborators on film projects.

She took a five-year hiatus from making films, returning to the movie scene in 1989’s Ghosts Can’t Do It. That same year, Bo attended the 61st Annual Academy Awards.

Bo appeared in 40 episodes of the soap opera Fashion House, playing the character Maria Gianni.

Bo and Corbett attended the 84th Annual Academy Awards together. That year, they celebrated their milestone 10-year dating anniversary.

2021

Corbett revealed that he and Bo secretly got married the year prior after 20 years of dating.

“We’re pretty private people, we didn’t make an announcement, all our friends and family knew but this is the first time either one of us has said anything publicly about it because really we haven’t had an opportunity,” the Sex and the City actor told host Jerry O’Connell during an episode of The Talk in August 2021. “So, you’re my buddy and now I guess I’m telling all of America, or the world.”

Bo attended the red carpet of the Filming Italy festival in a beautiful blue ensemble with her famous blonde locks on full display.

Bo looked absolutely gorgeous at the 6th Annual Jam For Janie Grammy Awards viewing party at the Hollywood Palladium in February 2025. She wore a teal blouse with brown pants and carried a brown purse, which matched her shoes. The color of the shirt really made her eyes pop. Once inside, Corbett joined her at her table.
