Bob Barker Turns 90 Next Week And Says He Could Still Take On Adam Sandler!
Former “Price Is Right” host Bob Barker celebrates his 90th birthday on Dec. 12, and though he joked with TMZ that his birthday wish these days is simply to live through another one, he’s convinced that in his ninth decade he can still kick one specific comedian’s butt!
Referring back to his famous scene from “Happy Gilmore,” in which Barker fights (and wins!) against Adam Sandler’s character on the putting green, the TV personality is confident that he can still take on Sandler 17 years later!
“Adam would be no problem,” Barker told TMZ before heading into a pre-birthday dinner at Antonio’s Restaurant in Melrose on Wednesday. “[He] couldn’t whip Regis Philbin!”
The birthday boy also joked about turning the big 9-0, saying “It takes a long time to become 90 years old,” and declaring 90 as the new 85 ½!
But Barker is still wildly optimistic about the future. “I only have to wait ten years and I’ll be 100!” he laughed.
