Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron Reignite Dating Rumors: ‘There’s Always Been Sparks’

New couple alert? Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron reignited dating rumors after they were reportedly spotted getting cozy together at an event on Saturday, January 12. Now, sources reveal exclusively to In Touch that the War Machine star, 55, and the Atomic Blonde actress, 43, have always seemed to have a thing for each other — so it would not be a surprise if Brad is moving on from his split from Angelina Jolie with another A-list star.

“Brad and Charlize got along very well during their shoot for the Breitling watch campaign early last year, there was definitely more of a connection between them than ever before,” an insider exclusively tells In Touch. “There’s always been sparks, but neither of them acted on them.”

According to the insider, Brad and Charlize’s relationship started to gain “some momentum” while they worked closely together on an ad campaign for the luxury watch company. “But Brad was dealing with Angie and the messy breakup, so again, nothing was pursued,” the source continued, and said that “the seed of a real romance was finally planted on the set of this photo shoot.”

The Hollywood hunk is still in the midst of a nasty divorce from his estranged wife. Angelina, 43, filed for divorce in August 2016 and the exes have been going back and forth in court ever since. The biggest issue that they were fighting over was custody of their six children — Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne, 10, and Knox, 10. But even though they finally reached an agreement in November 2018, their divorce has yet to be finalized.

Their custody battle was settled just in time for the holidays and the World War Z actor was “very happy” to celebrate Christmas 2018 with some of his children, according to Us Weekly. “Brad exchanged Christmas gifts with the kids on December 25 at his house,” an insider told the magazine. “Maddox refused to go, and Pax didn’t go either.”
