Brad Pitt may be having a hard time following his divorce from Angelina Jolie, but the actor is more dedicated than ever to making his kids‘ happiness his main priority.

“He has been very upset,” a source recently told E! News. “It’s a difficult situation for everyone.”

Angelina, 41, filed for divorce from Brad, 52, on Monday, Sept. 19. The couple — who are parents to Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 8 — previously began dating in 2004 and married in August 2014.

“Brad [is] committed to giving [his kids] stability. When [Angelina] would travel, which was a lot, he would stay with them,” the insider added. “Any time he wasn’t working, he was with the kids.”
