Carrie Ann Inaba Reveals She Once Dated John Stamos — And Regrets Pushing Him Away!

Before John Stamos tied the knot with his beautiful wife, Caitlin McHugh, he dated Carrie Ann Inaba! The Dancing With the Stars judge opened up about their past relationship while recently appearing on The Talk and explained how they began dating in the first place.

“When I was a ‘Fly Girl,’ the dreamiest thing happened,” she said. “Somebody was like, ‘Somebody wants to meet you across the room.’ The room parted and on the other side of the room was John Stamos!”

Though Carrie, 50, was excited to date John, 55, she revealed that their relationship didn’t work out because she “was not quite ready for somebody as good as John Stamos,” at the time. But once Carrie realized that she missed out on a good catch, it was a little too late. “I pushed him away, and then I was like, ‘Uh oh, that wasn’t a good idea,” she shared.

Though Carrie and John never ended up getting back together, John continued to support Carrie in her career. They later reunited when Carrie became a judge on Dancing With the Stars and John visited the show. “He’s so cool because he knew I was embarrassed and he was performing and he came right up to me and said, ‘I’m so happy for your success. I wish you all the best. It’s great to see you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” Carrie gushed.

Carrie already knew that John was a sweetheart but after he showed her how much he will always support her, she told The Talk co-hosts that he proved to be “the loveliest human being in the whole world.” How sweet! John later went on to marry Caitlin in February of this year and they welcomed a beautiful baby boy, son Billy Stamos, in April.
