Mark Hamill Recalls “Making out With” ‘Star Wars’ Co-Star Carrie Fisher!

Things clearly got a little PG-13 on the set of Star Wars back in the day! In a new interview, one of the movie’s biggest faces, Mark Hamill, revealed that he and the late Carrie Fisher once found themselves kissing while filming the hit movie.

“I remember one time — I’m sure alcohol was involved — we were talking about kissing techniques. I said: ‘Well, I think I’m a fairly good kisser. I like to let the women come to me rather than be aggressive.'” Mark began. “And she said: ‘What do you mean?’ Well, next thing you know we’re making out like teenagers!” Mark told The Guardian that the two were “really attracted to each other!”

After “being all over each other” for some time, the two stopped after realizing what they were doing. “The one thing that drew Carrie and me back from the precipice was we kind of became aware of what we were doing and just burst out laughing. Which was unfortunate for me because the rocket launch sequence had been initiated,” he joked.

The “fling” occurred while filming the first film, which hit theaters in 1977, before each party was married. Mark married wife Marilou York in 1978 and the two have been husband and wife ever since. Carrie was married to Paul Simon from 1983 until 1984. However, before that, Mark and Carrie were “instantly attracted to each other.”

When it was all said and done, the two “became like real siblings,” and Mark was devastated by Carrie’s untimely death in December 2016. “I’m selfishly mad that she’s not here to make me laugh,” he told People. “But I’m also grateful for all that she was able to give us while she was here. It has not been easy.”
