Carrie Underwood and Jessie James Decker Had the Cutest Mommy Exchange About Baby Toes
We love a good celebrity mama bonding moment — and that’s exactly what Carrie Underwood and Jessie James Decker gave us! On Thursday, April 18, the country singer, 36, who just gave birth to her second child, posted the sweetest snapshot of her newborn’s toes on Instagram.
“Want. To. Eat. These. Toes.” the blonde beauty captioned the picture. OK … even if you’re not a parent, you can’t deny that you’ve had the impulse to want to bite baby toes. It’s a thing. #NoShame. Don’t believe us? Well, Jessie, 31, chimed in with Nike’s signature motto and commented, “just do it.”
As it happens, though, she wasn’t the only one to share Carrie’s sentiment. Plenty of her loyal fans and followers fawned over little Jacob’s feet. “How cute and sweet is this? My heart is just bursting with happiness!!” one user commented. “Nothing cuter than baby toes,” added another.
Unfortunately, because the internet is, er, horrifying, some people (mainly men) actually thought that Carrie was going to bite her child. “Why girls always be talking about eating babies? I don’t get it,” someone wrote, while another echoed, “WTF.”
PSA: Carrie was just making a mommy joke. We suspect that if she actually did decide to put Jacob’s toes in her mouth that it would be gently. Moving on, Carrie is absolutely loving spending time with her bundle of joy and her oldest son, Isaiah — especially because the brothers have become fast friends.
“It is harder … trying to entertain my 4-year-old and take care of the baby. He says, ‘My baby. Where is my baby?” Carrie gushed during the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards of Isaiah’s love for Jacob. “He is really sweet.” In conclusion: The baby fever is real right now.
