Carrie Underwood’s Son Isaiah Has the Most Adorable Gig on His Mom’s Tour
When you’re all about family like Carrie Underwood is, everything will be done as a unit — including touring, and the singer’s eldest son has the best job while out on the road.
The 36-year-old appeared as a guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Thursday, October 4, and touched on many things, especially her family — the American Idol winner has been married to former professional hockey player Mike Fisher since 2010. They share two kids, sons Isaiah, 4, and Jacob, 8 months. “They love it,” the hitmaker said of her loved ones traveling with her. “Well, I mean, Jake would be fine no matter where we were.”
However, it is Isaiah who is perhaps the biggest fan of being on the road with his mom. “Somebody recently called him ‘The Mayor of Catering’ because he’s just like, ‘Hi, everybody!’ and loves seeing everyone,” Carrie explained to the host, 55. “He’s got his little scooter he rides around the venues in. He’s such a people guy. So he’s living the dream.” We can’t with all the cuteness! This isn’t the first time that the entertainer has gushed about having her family with her everyone she goes.
“One of my favorite things about the #CryPrettyTour360 is having my family out on the road with me,” Carrie wrote on an Instagram post on September 18 alongside a photo of little Isaiah taking in the sights of his mother’s show. “I just hope I’m making my boys proud of their mama.” It also seems like the couple’s first born is quite outgoing, as his mom made that very clear this summer.
“I have a 4-year-old who’s, like, a schmoozer,” Carrie joked to Entertainment Tonight. “He knows the right things to say and he’s so cute about it and he knows how to get, not get what he wants but a little bit. And he’ll totally [work it], especially with girls he’s so sweet.” As for Jacob, the actress added, “My 4-month-old is just four months of squishiness and smiley. And I love those smiley babies.”
It is very clear that there is so much love in this family!
