Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Hilariously Recreate an Old Family Photo With Their Kids
Where does the time go? Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are definitely asking themselves that after recreating an adorable throwback photo of their family on Instagram. In the original pic, now-17-year-old Dylan and 14-year-old Carys are much younger — and small enough to be carried by their famous parents. Nowadays, Catherine and Michael can't really hold their children, but they sure did try. Check out the video above to see the hilarious recreation.
"As time goes by! Outside our cottage in Canada. ??," the mom-of-two captioned the sweet series of photos. The family recently vacationed in the snowy country, and Catherine has been busy posting pics from their getaway.
By the looks of the photo, Catherine and Carys seem to have a close relationship today. The 48-year-old couldn't help but gush about her lookalike daughter during New York Fashion Week this past fall. "Yeah, well she's pretty individual, very strong young lady and that I think is what I admire about her more than anything," Catherine explained in an interview when told her daughter could be her mini-me. "She's strong and smart, has good morals and good judgment, which for a 14-year-old, you never quite know what you're gonna get." How sweet!
As for if Carys plans to follow in her mother's modeling footsteps, her future is wide open. "This is my first show so I'll see what happens, but I definitely see it in my future, I just don't know about right now," she said when asked if she would ever want to model. But Catherine quickly jumped in, adding that being a model isn't the only occupation on her to-do list. "Actress, model, brain surgeon… we'll see."
