Kathy filed from divorce from her husband on December 28 after nearly four years of marriage. The comedian listed December 22 as their date of separation and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason, according to documents reviewed by People.

Eric McCormack and Janet Leigh Holden McCormack

The director and actor, who first met in 1994 on the set of the CBS western series Lonesome Dove, called it quits after more than 26 years of marriage in November. Janet filed for divorce the day before Thanksgiving and listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason, according to multiple reports.

Chrissy Metz and Bradley Collins

The This Is Us star and author announced they were “amicably” ending their relationship after three and a half years of dating.

“While we continue to love each other very much, we believe this is the best path for us both,” their joint statement, posted to Instagram on October 7, read. “We still have books to write, songs to sing, and a special friendship to keep us in each other’s lives forever.”

Hugh Bonneville and Lulu Williams

The Downtown Abbey star ended his marriage to Lucinda Williams after more than 25 years together, a source confirmed to The Sun on October 1.

Bijou Phillips and Danny Masterson

Bijou filed for divorce from Masterson after more than a decade of marriage in September, shortly after he was convicted of rape.

“Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time,” Bijou’s lawyer, Peter A. Lauzon, told TMZ at the time, adding, “Her priority remains with her daughter.”

Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko

The Charmed alum filed for divorce from her photographer husband in April, ending their 11-year marriage.

“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted,” a rep for Shannen, Leslie Sloane, told People in a statement. “Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.”

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced their split on September 15 after 27 years of marriage.

“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” they said in a joint statement to People. “Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”

Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson

Tina filed for divorce from the veteran actor on July 26 after eight years of marriage. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

The two wed in 2013 in an intimate ceremony aboard a yacht in Newport Beach, California, attended by her famous daughters, Beyoncé and Solange. Tina was previously married to their father, Matthew Knowles, from 1980 through 2011.

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello

Sofia and Joe announced their decision to split after seven years of marriage in a statement shared on July 17.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” the pair said in a statement to Page Six. 

Billy Porter and Adam Smith

Billy and Adam made a difficult and “sad decision” to split after six years of marriage, the Our Son actor’s rep, Simon Hall, told People on July 5.

“The decision was an amicable and mutual one and was made after much consideration,” Simon explained to the outlet. “They continue to love and support each other as they embark on this next chapter.”

Kevin Costner and Christine Costner

Christine filed for divorce from the Hidden Figures actor after nearly 18 years of marriage on May 1, according to online case information viewed by Closer. 

“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” the actor’s rep shared in a statement to TMZ.  “We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

Representatives for Kevin and Christine did not immediately respond to Closers‘ request for comment.

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth

Reese and Jim announced their split after 11 years of marriage in a joint statement shared via Instagram on March 24.

“It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together,” they wrote.

After noting that their “biggest priority” is their son, Tennessee, and their “entire family,” the pair asked for “respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”

Brie Larson and Elijah Allan Blitz

The Captain Marvel star confirmed she split from the actor-filmmaker whom she’d been dating since 2019. Brie made the low-key revelation in the April issue of Harpers Bazaar, telling the publication, “I don’t have a next job. I don’t have a home. I don’t have a partner. I don’t have a plan,” adding that she’s on a “period of adventure” in her life.
