Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger Welcome Baby No. 3 and Share the Unique Name
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger welcomed their third child together, which means Arnold Schwarzenegger is a grandfather once more! They announced the exciting news on social media along with revealing the baby’s unique name.
“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt,” they captioned a joint Instagram post on Monday, November 11. “Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
The comments section flooded with well wishes for the happy couple, who are already parents to daughters Eloise and Lyla, as well as Chris’ son Jack from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
Ford was born on November 8, according to the Instagram post. The post flooded with comments congratulating the pair on their newest arrival.
“Congratulations!! What a blessing,” one person wrote, while another said, “Congratulations! So excited for the adventures ahead!”
Katherine first announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post in July. “Greatest party planner in history!” Chris captioned a photo of his wife with her baby bump on display at the time.

Katherine, who comes from a large family, previously revealed that she is open to having a large family of her own with Chris.
“I come from a big family, so I love the idea of having a lot of kids around and a big family,” the Maverick and Me author told Us Weekly in October 2022. “Whatever God has in his plan for us is what we’ll do.”
Katherine also told the outlet that she often turns to her mom, Maria Shriver, for parenting advice. Maria, 69, shares four kids with ex-husband Arnold, 77.
“It’s all a balancing act,” she explained. “I feel really lucky to be able to have obviously an amazing role model in my mom, and just being able to see how she balances it all. Just learning from her, being able to bounce things off of her and, at the end of the day, just knowing that family time is the most important time.”
She has absolutely loved seeing her parents embrace the role of being grandparents over the years.
“They really love [being grandparents],” she told Us Weekly in December 2020. “It’s such a great and cool new role for both of them to be able to experience. Also, for me as their daughter to watch them in this new role is such a beautiful thing.”
Katherine told the outlet that Maria has been a “wealth of wisdom” in her motherhood journey.
“I’m constantly going to [her] for more information and learning so much more and calling her for this, calling her for that. I did that throughout my whole pregnancy as well. I just feel really lucky to be able to have that source to go to and to ask so many of these questions,” Katherine said.
