Courteney Cox And David Arquette Reunite To Take Daughter Coco Back To School — See the Pic!
It’s been too long! Courteney Cox and David Arquette recently reunited to see their 14-year-old daughter, Coco Arquette, off to high school. On Wednesday, Sept. 5, they both shared a heartwarming pic on Instagram of them holding Coco tightly and David giving his daughter flowers to celebrate the occasion.
“I’m so proud of my daughter Coco! Have fun and be safe in Highschool! AND don’t grow up too fast! I love, love, love you!!!,” David captioned the sentimental photo. Courteney shared the same pic and wrote, “Omg! family photo, via @davidarquette ! I love this?? #courteneycox #davidarquette #cocoarquette #monicageller #friendstvshow.”
Courteney, 54, and David, 46, got married in 1999, but they later divorced in 2013. While remembering her divorce on a previous episode of NBC’s Running Wild With Bear Grylls, the actress said that their relationship ended because it was lacking romance.
“We found ourselves leading separate lives and just coexisting and being great friends, but not having the intimacy that…is so important in a relationship,” she revealed. “I think you really need to work in a relationship, and I think that we tried. We’re just really different, too. I’m the polar opposite of him. That can be great for a lot of things, but I need this kind of real, one-on-one connection.”
Luckily, their divorce did not affect their relationship with their daughter. “I mean, as divorces go, I would say it’s one of the better ones,” Courteney explained about their separation. “For sure. We’re good co-parents together.”
Although the former Friends actress is now set to marry Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid and David is now a husband to journalist Christina McLarty, Courteney added that she and David are still really “good friends.” It’s great to see that they have such a great relationship for Coco!
