Daphne Oz and Dr. Mehmet Oz Both Win Daytime Emmys - Closer Weekly

Success runs in the family! Daphne Oz, who’s related to Dr. Mehmet Oz, both won awards at last night’s Daytime Emmys — and we couldn’t be happier for the two!

Daphne — who recently welcomed her second child, son Jovan, in October 2015 — and her The Chew co-hosts took home the Outstanding Talk Show honor while Dr. Oz won the Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host award for The Dr. Oz Show.

“So proud of my dad, @DrOz, on his best host Emmy win tonight! Love you,” Daphne wrote on Twitter following her father’s win. “Congrats to @DaphneOz and everyone at @TheChew! Very well deserved!” Dr. Oz similarly wrote on the mirco-blogging site last evening.
