Debra Messing Finalizes Divorce From Daniel Zelman - Closer Weekly

Debra Messing is no longer a married woman.

According to E! News, the 47-year-old actress finalized her divorce from Daniel Zelman on Tuesday, March 1 after 16 years of marriage.

The Will & Grace star previously filed for divorce from Daniel, 48, in June 2012 though the two reportedly separated in summer 2010. Debra and Daniel — who are parents to an 11-year-old son, Roman Walker Zelman — married in September 2000, 10 years after they first met as New York University graduate students.

“I am at peace with the journey we’ve had. I feel like the 20 years we had together has been a huge success,” Debra told Ladies Home Journal at the time of their split. “Despite the fact that everything is changing, I think everyone is thriving.”
