Debra Messing Denies Plastic Surgery As Instagram Photo Makes Fans Question Her New Look
She’s all natural! That’s what Debra Messing had to make clear recently when numerous people accused her of having plastic surgery.
The 50-year-old caused some chaos on Instagram earlier this week when she took to the social media platform to share a photo of herself all done up before attending DoSomething’s Gala in New York City. While the actress was highlighting how honored she was to be named one of their 2019 Empower Players, most fans were focusing on something else.

“Plastic surgery … why not say so? one user asked in the comments section. “Definitely had something done,” another said, with one person adding, “The face-work is obvious.” But the Will & Grace star was quick to defend herself.
“NOPE,” Debra said in response to the criticisms, adding that her look is all thanks to “getting tons of facials” from aesthetician Joanna Vargas. “And using every gadget on the market!” The star also pointed towards her makeup.
“I always have eyeliner on the bottom of my eyes to make them look bigger,” she said in the comments section.
This isn’t the first time that fans have wondered if Debra has gone under the knife — Dr. Vartan Mardirossian even chimed in. “I cannot comment about a facelift [or] neck lift but she has no howling and she has a very well defined jawline and beautiful skin,” he once exclusively told Closer Weekly.
“Debra could have also received fillers in her cheekbones and smile lines and gotten Botox in her forehead and around her eyes,” he added.
The Wedding Date star has always denied having an sort of plastic surgery on herself, even once telling E! News, “I’m a wimp so anything that involves knives or a hospital is not good.”
We are sure fans will continue to question Debra’s looks, but for now she has shut it down!
