Demi Moore Reunites With ‘Now and Then’ Costar Melanie Griffith at ‘Inside Out’ Book Event

So cool! Demi Moore recently reunited with her Now and Then costar Melanie Griffith at an autograph signing event for her new book, Inside Out. While there, the two lovely ladies took a photo together and Demi, 56, later shared that unforgettable snap to Instagram along with another pic of her and her friend as their Now and Then characters in 1996.

“Now and Then 😉 @melaniegriffith #TBT,” she captioned the post. Melanie later saw the two beautiful photos on social media and she commented, “Girlfriend!!” with three black heart emojis.

Eva Longoria also said, “Omg I love this!!!” However, it was Demi’s fans that appeared to love the snap the most.

“Awwww Teeny and Samantha!!! One of my absolute favorite movies. Was a huge inspiration to my little ‘90s kid self! ❤️,” one said. Another added, “@demimoore BEST MOVIE TO EVER EXIST. Now & Then is my childhood!”

Since Demi released her book Inside Out, she’s been getting all kinds of compliments from her loved ones. The book talks about her private life at home and her former marriages to Freddy Moore, Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher. Demi’s daughter Rumer Willis also praised her mom for being so vulnerable in her memoir.

“I’m so proud of her vulnerability, and I think so many women have watched her — and just as her daughter, I’ve watched her, as kind of beacon of strength, and this kind of leader,” Rumer gushed about Demi — who is also mom to Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis. “I think what I really respect about her is that she is never the victim in her stories.”

Rumer looks up to Demi so much and one thing she loves about her mom is how open she can be.

“She takes accountability, she takes responsibility — and mind you, this is her perspective, her story, and she’s the first one to say that, but she’s allowing herself to show everyone that you can go through some really difficult, hard things, and you can still be someone who is thriving and taking accountability,” Rumer said. “And just being a strong survivor without being, ‘Oh, I survived this, and this is who I am because of this story.’ Which I think is amazing.”

We happen to agree — and we’re sure Melanie would too.
