Desperate Housewives first premiered on the small screen in 2004 and immediately became must-see viewing. It made huge stars of the lead actresses, including Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman.

Many familiar faces came and went during the eight seasons the soapy dramady ran on ABC through 2012, Jesse Metcalfe, Kyle McLachlan and Alfre Woodard.

Eva opened up in June 2024 about which stars she still keeps in close contact with 12 years after the show wrapped.

“I talk to Felicity all the time. I talk to Marcia a lot, but the one probably I talk to most is Ricardo [Antonio Chavira], my husband. And Jesse,” Eva told The Daily Mail.

While the possibility of a reboot has been discussed over the years, then and now photos of the stars show how they look today.

Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis)

After Desperate Housewives, Eva appeared on shows Mother Up!, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Telenovela, Empire and the movie remake of Overboard.

Eva turned her attention away from acting and towards executive producing, overseeing such shows as Grand Hotel while making her film directing debut with 2023’s Flamin’ Hot.

Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo)

Until 2017, Felicity starred in the popular TV series American Crime. She went on to appear in the 2019 miniseries When They See Us but was forced to step away from acting after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud in May 2019 for her part in a college admissions scandal.

Felicity served 11 days of 14-day federal prison sentence in October 2019. By 2020, she completed her full sentence of 250 hours of community service and one year of supervised release. She has since appeared in a 2023 episode of The Good Doctor and provided her voice for a character in the 2023 podcast “Supreme: The Battle for Roe.”

Teri has since appeared in series Jane by Design, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, The Odd Couple, and Supergirl.

In 2023, Teri starred in the Lifetime holiday movie Christmas at the Chalet, as well as the Roku original holiday film How To Fall in Love by Christmas.

Marcia Cross (Bree Van de Kamp)

After Desperate Housewives, Marcia appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Quantico.

She was last seen in two episodes of You in 2021 and three episodes of Fox’s country drama Monarch in 2022.

Nicollette’s career calmed down after she left the drama series. She’s appeared in a few TV movies as well as Jewtopia and Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife. She starred as Alexis Carrington in The CW’s Dynasty reboot, which was canceled after one season [in 2018]. Nicolette last appeared in the 2023 Lifetime holiday movie, Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas.

I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us.”
