His Views on Botox

When Britain’s Got Talent hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly joked that Simon got a “new face,” he was quick to shut them down.

“I think it’s hysterical. I mean it just makes me laugh — I haven’t had a facelift or anything,” Simon responded. “I have had a bit of Botox or whatever but kind of nothing drastic. So, when I hear about this stuff honestly, it does make me laugh.”

Addressing the Rumors

Simon does not let the rumors about his changing appearance distract him from his work.

“Over the years, people have said that I’ve had everything done,” he said. “But I don’t Google myself, so I genuinely don’t have a clue what everyone is saying about me until we do things like BGT.”

Shocking Confession

The record executive admitted that he once got so much Botox injected into his face that he looked “like something out a horror film.” His son, Eric Cowell, was frightened by his father’s new look.

“There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far,” Simon confessed. “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day and didn’t recognize it as me first of all. Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”

Healthy Living

These days, Simon attributes his transformation to changing his diet.

“There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other,” he said. “But actually, for me now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tons of water.”
