In a 2019 interview with CBS This Morning, Dolly confessed, “I’m not a natural beauty, but I can enhance it. Whatever it takes, I do. I try to make the most of everything.”

1990

The Tennessee native has always been known for her huge hair thanks to her large wig collection.

Dolly told Elle in 2019, “I don’t always wear [wigs] in my daily life, but I always still pouf up my hair.

“I still like to have that flashy hair. When I’m around home, I wear my little scrunchies, but I always put on some makeup and fix my own hair as cute as I can fix it.”

The glam queen added, “Wigs are just so handy. I’m so busy, and I have so many choices. I never have a bad hair day, and that’s a good thing.”

1995

Dolly attended the second annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Three years earlier, she clarified what type of implants she didn’t have in an interview with the Chicago Tribune. ”I’ve been known for my boobs long before people started having the implants, and I have never had silicone injections,” she told the publication.

The “Jolene” singer added, “I have had some cosmetic surgery, especially after I lost weight and stuff, and I’ve had my breasts lifted, but not injected. That would scare me to death, anyway.”

2000

“It’s always a risk, and anytime I go in for anything, I think, ‘Oh lord, please let this all work out fine,'” Dolly told Howard Stern in 2023 when discussing her plastic surgery.

Dolly revealed how much she spent on maintaining her famed chest and how she wanted it to be appreciated.

I don’t do really big stuff.” She said she turns to fillers like Botox and Juvéderm, “only when I have to do something,” noting, “And even then, I try to be careful.”
