Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gushes Over Daughter Simone Graduating High School: ‘Very Proud’

What a day! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was nothing but smiles as he celebrated his eldest child graduating from high school.

The 47-year-old took to Instagram on Friday, May 24, to share the good times with his fans and show off two photos of he and his daughter Simone posing next to each other at her graduation. “And then your babies graduate,” the former WWE wrestler captioned the post. “Very proud of my first daughter graduating high school, kickin’ ass and is now NYU bound. I love you and one day you’ll stop pulling away from my beastly arms & kisses.”

“Love you, thank you for coming,” the 17-year-old, who served as the Golden Globe Ambassador in 2018, told her dad in the comments section. Fans were also quick to respond. “Congratulations, young lady! One of life’s greatest accomplishments,” one person said. Another added, “NYU is amazing, changed my life. Best of luck!”

The actor shares shares Simone with his ex-wife Dany Garcia. Dwayne also has two other daughters — Jasmine Lia, 3, and Tiana Gia, 13 months — with his girlfriend of 12 years, Lauren Hashian.

The Hobbs & Shaw star has always been all about his family — he has also never forgotten who helped him get to where he is today: his parents. Last Christmas, Dwayne shared with the world that he had purchased a house for his mom.

“I always say, if you got a good mama, then you gotta pretty good shot at becoming a decent human being,” the A-lister wrote on Instagram at the time. “And somehow, somewhere along the line I became one lucky SOB to be able to make stuff like this happen. Merry Christmas Ma and WOOOHOOO enjoy your new home.”

A few months later, the Hollywood star also revealed he had bought a home for his father.
