Emma Thompson Claims Dancing With Prince Charles Is Better Than Sex
Some might call Prince Charles dull, but Academy Award winner Emma Thompson thinks the opposite.
"Dancing with Charles, an old friend, is better than sex," the star says in a Time magazine retrospective on the prince, who turns 65 next month.
The piece is comprised of 50 interviews with people who know Charles. The praise from Thompson is by far the most effusive…and surprising.
She also joked that she was never able to take it any further than dancing with the heir to the throne.
“There’s a long history of relationships between Princes of Wales and actors — not just actresses, not just the rude relationships as [Charles] would say, though God knows I’ve tried. He wasn’t having any of it,” she told the magazine.
