Eva Longoria Hilariously Forgets She’s Pregnant All the Time: “I’m Like, ‘Oh Yea, This Thing!'”
She may be seven months along, but sometimes Eva Longoria completely forgets she’s pregnant! The mom-to-be hilariously revealed in a recent interview that she’ll often wake up in the morning or be in conversation with her husband José “Pepe” Bastón and won’t realize she has a massive baby bump at first.
“I have been working, so sometimes I wake up and I forget I am pregnant,” she laughingly told Entertainment Tonight. “Like this morning, I was like, ‘Oh my god, I am late!’ and then I was like, ‘Why can’t I get out of bed?’ and I was like, ‘Helppp!’ And then I was like, ‘Oh yeah, this thing.'” She continued, “[I said] we should go skiing next weekend and he said no. I didn’t know why. I was like, ‘Why can’t we go? What is the problem?’ And I was like, ‘Oh god, I forgot!'” Talk about pregnancy brain!
When the 43-year-old isn’t forgetting about her baby bump, she’s all too aware of it. She previously opened up in an interview about breaking down and reluctantly purchasing maternity clothing because “it’s just impossible now to wear my old clothes.”
Her plan? To “live in leggings” and dresses for the remainder of her third trimester. “So I have broken down and bought some pregnancy leggings and mostly bottoms,” she dished. “I’m resistant to buying maternity wear just because I’ve been wearing my stuff and now I’ve gotten to a point where I’m like, ‘I’m so uncomfortable!'”
Luckily for Eva, her bundle of joy — a baby boy! — will be here super soon. Due in May, the actress “can’t wait for him to be here!” And while she’s admitted to not celebrating her birthday anymore, “After 40 you kinda just go, ‘Eh,'” she hilariously said to ET, she couldn’t help but gush about why the one she just celebrated on Thursday, March 16 is so special. “I can’t believe on this birthday I have a pending birth inside of me! Thank you all for the birthday wishes already! It’s been an amazing year, but my greatest gift? Already got it ?????,” she adorably wrote on Instagram.
