Eva Longoria Jokes She’s Missing Wine During Her Pregnancy
Mom-to-be Eva Longoria is so relatable! The Desperate Housewives star — who is pregnant with baby No. 1 — joked via Instagram about her pregnancy cravings, specifically how much she’s been missing wine while she’s expecting.
The glowing actress hilariously posted a pic of herself holding up a shirt on Tuesday, Feb. 13 that read, “I like to think wine misses me too,” with the caption, “I really hope so? Happy Tuesday!!!”
Before Eva, 42, confirmed she and her husband, José “Pepe” Bastón, were set to welcome their first child together, the brunette beauty turned down baby rumors over and over again. One time on her Instagram story she specifically joked about her “food baby” in paparazzi photos. “I saw some pictures of myself [looking] really fat on a boat. I have to tell you, all I did was eat cheese. So that’s the news of the day. I’m not pregnant, just eating a lot of cheese, a lot of wine, a lot of pancakes,” she revealed at the time.
Eva hasn’t been giving fans a glimpse of her baby bump on Instagram too often, but she’s stepped out on multiple occasions (including the 2018 Golden Globes) with her growing belly. In late January, she also showed fans that she’s staying fit throughout her pregnancy with a workout selfie. “Monday Morning hike! Gettin’ it in! #HappyMonday!” she captioned the pic at the time.
The Telenovela star has already gotten a taste of motherhood, so we bet she’s especially looking forward to welcoming her baby boy in a few months. She already a stepmother to Pepe’s three children — Tali, Jose, and Mariana — from his previous marriage to Natalia Esperon. And she loves them all very much. “[My stepchildren] have been such a gift in my life,” she previously told People. “They are amazing children,” she said in another interview. “I am so happy to be part of their lives.” We can’t wait to watch their family continue to grow!
