So Exciting!Eva Longoria Is Reportedly Already Trying For A Second Baby
She has babies on the brain! Eva Longoria welcomed her first child, a son named Santiago, in mid-June, but now, just four months later, the actress is reportedly already thinking about a second baby.
“She figures why wait? She’s 43 and she’d like to give Santiago a sibling who will be close in age,” a source shared with OK! in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now. “That’s partly why she’s in no hurry to lose her pregnancy weight.”
In fact, it was recently revealed that Eva is content with her post-baby figure. “Eva spent years succumbing to the pressure to be thin, but now that’s a thing of the past. All of her insecurities from her 20s have melted away,” a source told Star in a past issue of the magazine. “She’s healthy, happy, and secure with a few extra pounds.”
That said, she’s reportedly ready to add another little one to her brood. “She can’t stop talking about babies,” says the insider, adding that her husband, José Antonio Baston, 50, would be happy to keep growing their family (Eva is already a stepmother to his three children from a previous marriage). “They both would love one more.”
Just a few weeks after little Santiago was born, Eva gushed about motherhood with her bundle of joy. “He’s just been so easy, so sweet, we’ve been really lucky, he’s super healthy. It’s just been great,” she confessed to Entertainment Tonight at the time. “Everything he does is cute. His noises he makes, his smile. He’s finding his voice, so he makes all these funny [baby noises], you’re just like, ‘What was that?’ He talks a lot. I mean, he just wants to talk and talk.”
And even though being a mom could be a lot of work, Eva has said she doesn’t want it any other way. “It’s a lot of work, but it’s effortless because you want to be with him all the time.” Here’s hoping she makes an announcement soon!
