When you think of TV game shows, Family Feud is probably one of the first to come to mind. The long-running series remains so popular today after more than three decades on the air — it’s even still being regularly spoofed on Saturday Night Live!

Part of the competition's charm has always been its hilarious hosts, ranging from Seinfeld stars to TV’s most famous weatherman. That’s only continued with current host and busiest man in America, Steve Harvey, who also heads up the ever-popular spin-off, Celebrity Family Feud. More than 30 years after the show's 1976 premiere, it's clear this series isn't going anywhere. Scroll down for a refresher on all of the Family Feud hosts, past and present.

Richard Dawson (1976-1985; 1994-1995)

The Hogan’s Heroes actor was the first host of the show when it premiered on ABC in 1976, running all the way through to its final season on the network in 1985. He was later brought on the syndicated series in 1994 in a last-ditch effort to boost ratings, but the show was ultimately canceled at the end of the season.

Ray Combs (1988–1994)

Stand-up comedian Ray Combs took over for Richard when the show was revived on CBS in 1988, and months later it went into syndication. He hosted for six seasons before his predecessor was brought in to replace him for the final 1994-1995 run.

Louie Anderson (1999–2002)

The comic and actor, who had the hit cartoon series Life with Louie, was the host of the series' third revival in 1999. He was at the helm of the syndicated show for three seasons before being let go in 2002.

Richard Karn (2002–2006)

The man best-known as Home Improvement’s Al Borland was chosen to take over for Louie in 2002’s fourth season. In 2006, after four years on the game show, he chose to leave. He later hosted one season of the GSN show Bingo America in 2008.

John O'Hurley (2006–2010)

When Season 8 of Family Feud premiered in 2006, Seinfeld alum John O'Hurley — aka J. Peterman — took over the reins. After four seasons, he was ultimately replaced in 2010.

Al Roker (2008)

The Today weatherman was host of the NBC-launched spin-off series, Celebrity Family Feud, in 2008. The show featured celebrity captains joined by four friends or family members, all competing for a cash prize to be donated to the charity of their choice. The NBC version lasted only one season.

Steve Harvey (2010–present)

In 2010, comedian and media mogul Steve Harvey was named host for Season 12, and he’s held that title ever since. He’s also hosted the revived Celebrity Family Feud spin-off on ABC since 2015, which was just renewed for a fifth season.
