Wearing a sparkling black column dress and blood-red lipstick, Amal Clooney dazzled at the Berlin premiere of her husband George Clooney’s latest film, Hail, Caesar!
At red carpet events, Amal could easily be mistaken for a Hollywood actress, but as a human rights attorney, her career puts in her much more serious — and often much more dangerous — situations.

In fact, things have gotten so high-stakes that George, 54, has tripled the security surrounding his bride. “George absolutely worries about Amal’s safety,” an insider tells Closer. “He wants to protect her from any kind of threat — big or small.”

In recent months, the threats against Amal, 38, have gotten bigger. In September, one of her legal colleagues, Mahfooz Saeed, was stabbed by masked assailants, and last year, Amal claimed Egyptian officials threatened to have her jailed for criticizing their legal system. “George realizes it’s the nature of her business, but it unnerves him,” adds a source.
