Glenn Close on Life at Age 70: “I Don’t Feel Like I’ve Peaked Yet” (EXCLUSIVE)
In the new issue of Closer Weekly, the inspiring Glenn Close shares her best advice for actors just starting out and why she feels better than ever at 70 years old.
“I don’t feel like I’ve peaked yet,” Glenn told Closer at the 2018 Writers Guild Awards. “I feel like I’m a Ferrari in a garage.” Glenn attended the event to honor Alison Cross, who wrote her groundbreaking 1995 TV movie Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story, a biopic about a National Guard member forced to retire by the military’s gay exclusion policy.
The actress is known for tackling dramatic roles, but her best advice is “not to take yourself too seriously. To be open to anything. And never compare your career to someone else’s.”
