Goldie Hawn Jokes She’s “Two-Timing” Boyfriend Kurt Russell With Her New Furry Friend!
After 35 years of dating, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell still know how to incorporate humor into their adorable relationship.
On Wednesday, March 28, Goldie took to Instagram to joke that she cheated on Kurt — but with a very cute dog, don’t worry! “Two-timing Kurt on the set of his movie ?❤️,” the 72-year-old actress quipped next to a photo of herself kissing her new furry friend. Goldie was visiting Kurt on the set of his upcoming Netflix movie, which he is allegedly playing Santa Clause in.
Believe it or not, Goldie and Kurt — who met in 1983 on the set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band — never married, but Goldie still has learned the secret to a long-lasting relationship after all these years. “Love, gratitude, compassion, because sometimes every man or every woman will drive their partner crazy. Family. Fun. Laughs. Sex,” she once told People. “If you don’t nurture that, and remember, you’re done.”
Goldie previously joked that if she and Kurt actually did get married, they’d be “long divorced” by now. In fact, she has a very strong opinion on marriage. “Marriage is an interesting sociological thing. If you need to be bound to someone, then it’s important to be married,” she shared on ITV Loose Women in September 2016. “If you have independence, if you have enough money and enough sense of independence and you like your independence, there is something psychological about not being married because it gives you the freedom to make decisions.”
Even though Goldie and Kurt never tied the knot, the couple still has a son together, Wyatt Russell, 31. Actually, the duo has the cutest blended family in Hollywood. Goldie is a mom to son Oliver, 41, and daughter Kate, 38, from her previous marriage to Bill Hudson, and Kurt is a dad to son Boston, 38, with his ex-wife, Season Hubley.
