Goldie Hawn Hilariously Trolls Daughter Kate Hudson on Social Media After She Missed Her Call
Hey, sometimes you just don’t get around to calling your family members back. After Kate Hudson posted a video to Instagram on Sunday, June 23, mom Goldie Hawn hilariously realized why she wasn’t able to return her call.
Apparently, Kate, 40, was getting into character for her new film, Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon. She sat in a chair while her makeup artists put a thick green mixture on her face and, after they applied it evenly, they hardened the facial mask with blow dryers and carefully removed it. Since Kate was completely unable to see, she wasn’t able to read any messages that came through on her phone. Sorry, everyone!
“No wonder you didn’t call me back!” Goldie, 73, hilariously wrote in the comments. The Almost Famous star captioned the clip, “A first time for everything #MonaLisaAndTheBloodMoon #TheMask SOUND UP 🔊.”
Kate and her mom have so many great times together. They have such a close bond that they’re practically inseparable. “As we grow older together, I can’t express the amount of love, joy, laughter, sadness we share. She understands me, I understand her. We’re girls. We share everything. She’s, like, the greatest,” Goldie previously gushed about Kate with People.
Kate feels the exact same way too. “My mom is my great confidante! I pretty much tell her everything. Look, unfortunately, or fortunately, our family is very open. There’s some things we don’t want to necessarily know about each other, but everything is just out on the table in our family,” she told Today.
In addition to daughter Kate, Goldie is also a proud mom to two sons — Oliver Hudson, 42, and Wyatt Russell, 32 — and if you ask her if she can ever imagine her life without them children in it, the legendary actress most likely give you a firm “No!” So sweet!
