Grant Shaud Dishes Behind the Scenes Details on the Murphy Brown Reboot

Actor Grant Shaud, who played nerdy TV news producer Miles Silverberg on Murphy Brown from 1988 to 1996, exclusively opens up to Closer Weekly about what it’s like to shoot the new reboot.

“It’s amazing to be back,” Grant tells Closer of going to work on CBS’ reboot, premiering this fall. “We are really excited.”

Grant, 57, is especially psyched to be working with five-time Emmy winner Candice Bergen, 72, again. “I can’t keep it together when I am acting with her because there is something about her that just cracks me up,” he tells Closer. “We just have a bad habit of being very unprofessional. That’s my favorite part — I just enjoy her so much.”
