Bill Murray (Phil Connors)

After reliving February 2 over and over again, Bill starred in other hit movies including Rushmore, Charlie’s Angels, Lost in Translation and Moonrise Kingdom. He was nominated for Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards in 2015 for his performance as a Vietnam War veteran in St. Vincent. In recent years, he appeared in The French Dispatch, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Andie MacDowell (Rita Hanson)

Since playing Phil’s love interest in Groundhog Day, Andie MacDowell has appeared in Four Weddings and a Funeral, the 2011 Footloose remake and the comedy-drama series Jane by Design. In 2021, she starred alongside daughter Margaret Qualley in the Netflix series Maid.

Chris Elliot (Larry the Cameraman)

Chris Elliot is most known for his film roles in Groundhog Day and There’s Something About Mary, as well as his recurring TV performances on popular shows, including Everybody Loves Raymond and How I Met Your Mother. From 2015 to 2020, he starred on Schitt’s Creek.

Marita Geraghty (Nancy Taylor)

Marita Geraghty appeared in several movies throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, most notably starring as Nancy — the woman Bill pretends to know because he wants to date her — in Groundhog Day. She also had roles in 1991’s Sleeping with the Enemy and 1994’s Past Tense.

Stephen Tobolowsky (Ned Ryerson)

Though he is most known for his portrayal of annoying insurance salesman Ned Ryerson in Groundhog Day, Stephen Tobolowsky has also starred in the TV series Glee and Californication. From 2014 to 2023, he played Principal Ball in The Goldbergs.
