Gwyneth Paltrow Says She ‘Wouldn’t Survive’ Having Kids With New Husband Brad Falchuk Because She’s ‘Too Old’
With two growing kids, an acting career, a lifestyle brand, and a new husband, Gwyneth Paltrow sure has her hands full these days. But before she puts anything else on her plate, the Iron Man actress assured fans there’s one thing she would never add to the mix — more children! Gwyn recently revealed to ES Magazine that she’s not planning to welcome more kids with her new hubby Brad Falchuk.
“Good lord, no. I’m too old,” the 46-year-old blatantly admitted. “It’s great that women are able to have babies late into their forties, but… I mean, pfffff. I don’t think I could be up all night. I wouldn’t survive.” At least she’s honest!
Gwyneth is already a mom to two amazing kiddos, daughter Apple Martin, 14, and son Moses Martin, 12, who she shares with her ex-husband, Chris Martin. The blonde beauty split from the 41-year-old Coldplay frontman in March 2014 and just four years later, she tied the knot with Brad in late September 2018 at her Hamptons, NY home. To make their family even bigger, Brad also has two children, daughter Isabella and son Brody, that Gwyn is now a stepmom to.
And while exes don’t usually voluntarily hang out — even if they’re amicable — Gwyn and Chris find it totally normal. “Yes. I think we’ve managed to really stay a family,” the Avengers star told the outlet. “Chris is a very close friend. I see him every day, I talk to him every day. It was very difficult, but I think you see in the children that they got through it, so I am proud of us, I really am. We kept to our commitment that we would put the children first.”
It seems like Gwyneth’s husband, Brad, and Chris’ new flame, Dakota Johnson, don’t seem to mind the friendly bond the former lovebirds share. In fact, the two couples are reportedly on such good terms that they not only spent this past Thanksgiving together but Chris and Dakota even went on Gwyn and Brad’s honeymoon. Yes, you read that correctly.
“We just took our honeymoon in the Maldives and we had a big family honeymoon over Christmas,” the actress dished to Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest while visiting Live! With Kelly and Ryan on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
She continued, “So, my new husband and his children, my children, my ex-husband, our best family friends [all went]. It was a very modern honeymoon.” With all the couples and their children hanging out and getting along, we imagine being with their combined four kiddos is good enough for Brad and Gwyn!
