Hilaria Baldwin Confirms That She Sadly Suffered a Miscarriage in Emotional Message: ‘There Was No Heartbeat’
She’s opening up about her experience. Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, confirmed some devastating news today, on April 9, revealing that she sadly suffered a miscarriage in an emotional statement. The author took to Instagram with a beautiful family photo and candid message.
“There was no heartbeat today at my scan … so it’s over … but I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here,” Hilaria, 35, wrote, while showing appreciation to those helping her through this tough time. “I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate.”
Hilaria continued her profound message, “Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories. We are stronger together … I hope this conversation continues to grow and that we stick together through both the beautiful and challenging moments in life.” She concluded, “Much love and appreciation to all of you.”
Less than a week ago, the yoga guru and mother-of-four told her followers that she was most likely experiencing a miscarriage. At the time, Hilaria said that even though the embryo had a heartbeat, the chances were still “very, very small that this is a viable pregnancy.”
“I want to share with you that I am most likely experiencing a miscarriage,” she wrote alongside the photo showing off her small baby bump on April 4. “I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss. I think it’s important to show the truth … because my job is to help people by being real and open.” Hilaria also noted how she has “no shame or embarrassment” about it.
Hilaria, who has four children with the famed actor: Leonardo, Rafael, Carmen and Romeo, explained how she wanted to remove the “stigma” from miscarriages by being forthcoming about her own experience. After reading her statement confirming the news, several fans posted thoughtful comments to show support. “Sending so much love,” one wrote. Another added, “I’ve felt that pain in my heart as well. You are the epitome of strength. Hugs and prayers for you all.”
