Talk show host Hoda Kotb has celebrated many exciting milestones over the last few years — including her journey to motherhood with former fiancé Joel Schiffman. Fans of the Today host have fallen in love with their beautiful family.

Hoda announced her and Joel’s split during Today on January 31, 2022. She said they were on a “new path” as “friends” and coparents.

“He’s a great guy. He’s a very kind and loving person, and I feel privileged to have spent eight years with him,” she said about the breakup. “We are both good and we are both kind of going on our way and our path. We’ll be good parents to those two lovely kids.”

The exes even spent Christmas together in 2024!

Super Bowl Sunday

Haley and Hope wore adorable matching shirts in support of Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, on Super Bowl Sunday in February 2024. The girls joined their mom and grandmother as they watched the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers on television.

Since her split from Joel, Hoda has been prioritizing spending time with her daughters and her career. The newscaster has not announced plans of slowing down any time soon, but it certainly would not come as a surprise if she did end up leaving Today eventually.

“I think you could see a day that Hoda leaves TV, or at least daily TV, by the time she’s 60,” a friend told Closer in April 2019. “Motherhood and soaking in every joyful moment of it, means that much to her.”

Summer Fun

Hoda and the girls closed out summer in the cutest way possible in September 2022. The broadcaster helped Haley and Hope run their own lemonade stand. She shared several photos of their adorable project on social media. At one point, a long line formed in front of the stand, and Hoda was nothing but proud to see her daughters working together.

The television personality wrote that it was a “nice way to say goodbye” to the warm weather and prepare for fall. She also took the girls to the beach where they participated in fun activities with their friends. Hoda cheered on both of her daughters as they competed in a race across the sand. The proud mama shouted with joy as both Haley and Hope made it to the finish line. It doesn’t get any sweeter than that!
