Hoda Kotb Shares Photo of Kathie Lee Gifford Meeting Baby Daughter Hope: ‘Lookie Who Came to Say Hi!’
She has met plenty of her mom’s pals already, but Hoda Kotb‘s baby daughter, Hope Catherine, hadn’t met Kathie Lee Gifford yet. Well, that just changed!
The 65-year-old stopped by Hoda’s home recently and got to meet her best friend’s second daughter — one the Today cohost welcomed via adoption on April 12. And don’t worry, because her first child, 2-year-old Haley Joy, was also there! “Lookie who came to say hi!!! Xoxo @kathielgifford. love you Kath,” Hoda, 54, captioned a photo of all four.

Fans were loving the snap, as they rushed to the comments section to respond. “That just feels so right to see KLG with you and the babies Hoda. Love you 2 together so much !! What a blessing you friendship is!!” one person said. Another added, “You look so rested! Everyone else looks beautiful and happy!”
It’s nice to see that the two close friends are still making time to see each other, especially since the Live! alum exited from Today on April 5 after 11 years on the show. Kathie Lee admitted that her pal knew about her tough decision beforehand. “Hoda’s known it for a long, long time,” she said on the December 12 episode of Today.
“All these other projects have been bubbling up … and it’s so exciting. Movies and music and so many wonderful things. And I need the time for them to do them properly.” Kathie Lee continued, adding that she also felt “relieved” once she told everyone the news.
As far as as Hoda being a mom for a second time, The Gift That I Can Give author was all about it. “Hoda’s a momma again,” Kathie Lee gushed on The Five shortly after Hoda revealed the exciting news. “I’m thrilled about that. I knew that was coming. I just didn’t know when it was coming.”
