Hoda Kotb Shows Off New Suburban Neighborhood in Halloween Photos With Her 2 Daughters

Hoda Kotb had the best time ever while spending Halloween with her daughters, Haley and Hope, in their new suburban neighborhood.

Hoda, 60, shared photos from her adventures with the girls while trick-or-treating on Thursday, October 31. Haley, 7, and Hope, 5, wore matching blue and purple cheerleader costumes as they walked around their new town with their mom and their pals.

“Suburban Hoda is fully activated,” one person wrote underneath the Instagram post.

“Can you imagine opening the door to Trick or Treaters and Hoda is standing there dressed like a pumpkin? AWESOME,” another said.

The doting mom also looked festive while sporting a pumpkin onesie during the holiday. Earlier in the day, Hoda rocked a completely different costume during Today’s Halloween extravaganza, dressing as Titanic’s Jack Dawson, while Jenna Bush Hager dressed as Rose DeWitt Bukater.

This marks the first Halloween that Hoda has spent with Haley and Hope in their new suburban neighborhood, as they recently moved into a new home.

“I want my kids to feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street, and run up and down the stairs,” she told People of the move in August. “I just see that life for them in this perfect house in this beautiful little town where I know they’ll be able to blossom into beautiful, independent, strong women.”

She explained that she was in the “repotting phase” of her life.

“It’s like my roots need a bigger pot,” the longtime broadcaster said. “You know when you take a plant out of a pot, and it’s roots are all twisted and tight? And then you put it in a bigger pot with fresh new soil and it just grows bigger and stronger? That’s the journey I’m on right now. And it’s going to hurt a little, to leave that pot that was so comfortable for so long. But in the end, it’s going to be exactly what we need.”

On September 26, Hoda announced that she would be leaving Today to spend more time with her kids. Now, she’s looking forward to having some more free time to pursue other interests around her new area.

“I’ve found out, in my town, there’s a 5:30 Soul Cycle class which I’m going to start,” Hoda told E! News on October 25. “Then I’m going to go back and feed my kids breakfast and I am going to make a coffee to go in my Yeti.”

“I’m going to walk my kids down the beautiful streets to their school and I’m going to kiss them goodbye,” she added.

And Hoda has already teased her next career venture in the wellness space.

“I’m going to do work in my wellness space because I’ve got a lot of stuff coming,” she said. “I’m going to be working for a few hours. I’m going to have a lunch with friends who I have not had a chance to eat lunch with in forever. Real conversations.”

Overall, the Hope Is a Rainbow author is excited for what’s to come.

“I’m going to take them to wherever they want to go,” Hoda said of spending time with her kids. “I’m going to bring them home later. I’m going to fire up the BBQ. I don’t care what the temperature is, I love everything barbecued. I’m going to make burgers and salmon.”
