Cute!Hugh Jackman Spends ‘Day Off’ With Wife of 23 Years Deborra-Lee Furness
He may be a very busy man, but Hugh Jackman is all about his family, and he recently took advantage of a rare day off by spending it with his lovely wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.
The 50-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, May 23 to share a photo of he and Deborra-Lee, 63, posing together, and looking quite happy. “I know no better way to spend a day off,” the actor captioned the picture, adding, “#mydebs.”

“You guys are incredibly sweet. Such a devoted beautiful couple,” one fan responded in the comments section. Another added, “Lovely photo of you and Deborah! Enjoy every precious moment together!”
The pair share two kids — Oscar, 19, and daughter Ava, 13. And while they are completely head over heels for each other now, The Greatest Showman star once revealed that Deborra-Lee actually tried to dump him when they first started going out. “I knew very early, I knew before Deb knew. Even when she tried to break up with me, I knew,” Hugh said on the podcast Aussies in Hollywood with Jenny Cooney.
“She kind of [broke up with me], a little bit. Early on, three weeks in. I managed to talk her out of it, thank God. I’m a very indecisive person, Deb really knows this about me. I can count on my hand the amount of times in my life anything has felt that clear to me, and when it happens it’s such a relief for me,” he added. “I just knew 100 percent, I even knew when she was trying to work out reasons to break up with me.”
The pair did not split, and things have turned out pretty well since then — just last month they celebrated 23 years of marriage. “Happy anniversary #mydebs,” the Golden Globes winner wrote alongside a throwback photo of the pair smiling with their teeth covered in what appears to be chocolate.
Such a great couple!
