Is Amal Clooney Appearing on the Cover of 'Vogue'? - Closer Weekly

Since marrying George Clooney last September, Amal Clooney has become a leading fashion icon — so it’s only fitting she would appear in Vogue magazine!

Earlier this week, Amal, 37, was reportedly spotted dining with the fashion mag’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, leading many to speculate the London-based barrister may be gracing ‘Vogue’s’ cover for an upcoming issue.

Anna has worked as ‘Vogue’ editor-in-chief since 1988.

“They had a nice time,” an eyewitness told ‘E! News‘ of their lunch. “There was laughter at the table.”

That evening, Amal demonstrated her impeccable fashion sense when she stepped out wearing a pair of colorful patterned pants and a feathered crop top, both by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.

If George’s spouse did land a coveted ‘Vogue’ cover, it wouldn’t be the first time Amal has appeared in the magazine, as photos of her wedding dress fitting — taken by Annie Leibovitz — previously appeared in the publication’s October 2014 issue.
