Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie’s Girls Poppy and Vale Are BFFs and Birthday Twins — See Their Party Pics!
They’re the cutest BFFs! Jenna Bush Hager‘s youngest daughter, Poppy, and Savannah Guthrie‘s daughter, Vale, celebrated their Aug. 13 birthdays together with the most adorable joint party earlier this week. With Vale turning four years old and Poppy turning three, the two girls were photographed wearing pink paper tiaras in sweet pics that their moms shared to Instagram.
“Birthday tradition with birthday besties. How wonderful life is with these two in the world! ❤️❤️ ,” Jenna captioned her slideshow of images. Savannah also shared the same photos but swapped out the last pic of herself with Jenna for a snap of the cake. “Birthday twins party together!!! ❤️❤️❤️Our tradition #ValeandPoppy,” Savannah wrote. Vale appeared to have two birthday parties this year — one with Poppy and an earlier celebration with just her immediate family. Savannah recently shared pics from Vale’s Wonder Woman-themed party and captioned the sweet snapshots, “My little Wonder Woman is FOUR today!”
Today co-stars Savannah and Jenna have been close friends for several years. In a previous interview with E! News, Jenna opened up about what it’s like to be her co-worker’s neighbor and best friend. “I know Savannah leads with the heart. [Savannah] lights up when she’s with her kids,” Jenna shared. “She loves her husband, Mike Feldman, adores her mom, sister, and brother, and she loves her friends. How lucky am I to be one of them?”
“I know now that we both share an abiding adoration of taquitos and queso, and frankly, all Mexican food. We are both madly in love with Lin-Manuel Miranda — who isn’t? — but our love runs deep. So deep we once spent a 30-minute car ride singing the entire Hamilton album at the top of our lungs. We recorded ourselves. It wasn’t pretty. We are also in a competition to win Lin’s affection via social media. It’s a tie so far,” Jenna added. It’s great to see Poppy and Vale get along just as great as their moms!
