Jenna Bush Hager Says Savannah Guthrie’s Husband Mike Feldman Tried Kicking Her Out of Their Home

Jenna Bush Hager has shared a ton of embarrassing stories with the Today audience over the years but this one might take the cake!

Jenna, 43, and Hoda Kotb got to talking about how people sometimes don’t know when it’s the appropriate time to leave a gathering at someone else’s home.

“If you’re last man standing, which I have been, you may also leave a party in an odd way. You know what I mean?” Jenna said.

“Well you know when the host is like, ‘Alrighty then. OK.’ Sometimes people start doing dishes. ‘Got a lot to clean up.’ And some people still don’t get the hint,” Hoda, 60, told her cohost.

This led Jenna to think about a time when she was at cohost Savannah Guthrie’s home and might have overstayed her welcome.

“Wait, did I ever tell you— I hope I did, but if not you’re gonna love this,” the former first daughter recalled. “There was a time when I was at Savannah’s house and Mike Feldman wanted me to leave so badly but didn’t say it that he started vacuuming around my feet.”

Eventually, she realized that it was probably Mike’s way of silently asking her to leave.

“He’s vacuuming around my feet to where I was like, ‘Mike, if you’re ready for me to go, I’m ready to go,’” Jenna added.

The confession made Hoda laugh. Jenna said, “If you stay too late, there’s dangers involved.”

“As my mother says, nothing good happens after midnight,” Jenna said, referencing antics that have happened to her at some parties.

“I’ve lost two teeth that way. Well, injured two teeth,” she told the audience.

Jenna, who shares kids Mila, Poppy and Hal with her husband, Henry Hager, is so not shy about making admissions regarding her personal life. During a July episode of Today, Jenna remembered becoming a mom for the first time and wondered how much her life would change.

“This is gonna sound crazy. But could I ever love anything as much as my cat, Bernadette? I remember I said it to my friend, Crystal, you can call her and ask her,” Jenna reflected.

“Crystal at that point was my only friend that had a child, well, she had a cat too named Killer, but she had a child,” Jenna shared with viewers. “She was like, ‘Jenna, your heart has room. But also hilarious that you think your cat is gonna compare.’”

Hoda jokingly said to Jenna that the remarks “spoke volumes about you and your cat relationships. I didn’t know it was like that.”

Jenna asked Hoda her opinion on motherhood and whether she ever felt like she would have “room” to love multiple children. Hoda adopted daughters Haley and Hope during her relationship with now-ex Joel Schiffman.

“I so wanted a child for so long that I think I didn’t have that initially, but I didn’t realize that your heart’s ability to expand is beyond measure, like there’s always room,” Hoda shared.

“If you want more to love, there’s room,” the mom of two added. “You just have to decide if you have the space and the time … if it’s getting a puppy or all of the different things, or another friend, it doesn’t even matter. But I think sometimes people are like, ‘I feel tapped out, I don’t have any room’ and then you should listen to that.’”
