Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Are Reportedly Not Talking at All Following Their Divorce
They’ve moved on, folks! Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux‘s divorce may only be a year old, but the pair is, apparently totally, over their marriage and are not even speaking to each other anymore.
“They don’t have contact or a relationship,” a source told Us Weekly. “Jen and Justin have gone their separate ways and really closed that chapter of their lives. It was a clean break and they have both gone back to their pre-married lives.” The Friends alum, 49, and the actor, 47, called things off in February 2018, confirming they were saying goodbye to their two-year marriage with a joint statement. And according to the insider, they are now trying to live their best lives apart.
“He’s happy in New York and she’s happy in LA,” the source told the magazine. “They are both happy to be living their lives the way they want. He has his friends and she has hers. There’s not a lot of overlap. They wish each other well, but they have both completely moved on.” And it also helps that the Dumplin‘ star has another fellow actress to lean on in Sandra Bullock, as it was recently reported that she’s been helping her pal out quite a bit following her second divorce.
“Sandra knows better than anyone what it’s like to go through an ugly break-up in front of the world’s press,” a source close to the friends recently told Heat magazine. “She immediately made herself available at any time, day or night, for Jen to call.” The insider added that the Gravity actress is “calm, wise, balanced and shrewd — all the virtues Jen needs when talking over her issues.” They added, “Jen looks up to Sandra as one of the most impressive people she’s ever known. They hang out a lot, usually at each other’s houses in LA, and Sandra helps Jen with everything she’s going through. Sandra keeps her inner circle pretty tight but, once you’re in, you’re friends for life and she makes all the time in the world for you.”
Jennifer once opened up about her two past marriages — she was, of course, also previously hitched to Brad Pitt — and even though they both ended in divorce, the actress still doesn’t see them as failures. “My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion,” she told Elle. “And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore.”
